What is good photography today ?

In a world where we are perpetually saturated with never-ending imagery , where everything and everyone is photographed repeatedly, I had become desponded with the medium the past few years, moving more and more to video - but lately the gift of photography has been returned to me, and suddenly i am enjoying making pictures again. Every day I swim the Irish sea - rain, snow, sun, cold - makes me feal alive, re-invigorated and connected to life - today the waters at the 40 Foot were a little choppy. Alive and well and living in Dublin.
